The Columbus State University Athletic Fund, Inc., originally established in 1969 as th4e Columbus College Educational Fund, Inc., was incorporated for the object and purpose of advancing the cause of education by establishing and implementing programs and activities for the promotion and assistance of Columbus State University.
Through membership and fundraising activities, the Athletic Fund is able to provide financial assistance to the Athletic Department and a major portion of the funding for the Athletic Hall of Fame.
