Nathalie Fradette

Nathalie FradetteNathalie Fradette played three seasons for the Columbus State softball team. She set several records during her time at CSU, including season and career records for batting average in the Peachbelt Conference (.543 in 1999 and .432 career). She threw two no-hitters and a perfect game while a Cougar.

Nathalie set a CSU record for on-base percentage and her 94 hits in 1999 tied a Peachbelt Conference record for most hits in a single season. She was All-Conference three times and conference pitcher of the week five times. As a pitcher for Columbus State University, she holds a win-loss record of 57 wins and 12 losses with a career .096 ERA. A graduate of the exercise science program at Columbus State University, she was voted scholar athlete of the year in 1997-98 and player of the year in 1999.

Nathalie's honors were not confined to the Peach Belt Conference. She has represented CSU admirably internationally as a member of the Canadian Olympic Softball Team in Sydney, Australia at the 2000 games and Fradette was a 1998 world championship team member and also a Pan Am silver medalist in Winnipeg in 1999, and a Canada Cup All-Star the same year. In 2004, at the tender age of 34, Nathalie was selected to Team Canada, the Canadian National Women's Baseball Team as an outfielder and played in the IBAF World Cup representing her country.
